A Fruitful Friday...

I woke up late for work today...well, i missed the CME but i still got to work before boss arrived so it was ok i guess...didn't really have any plans for Friday night since i was supposed to be on call on Saturday...but as the morning passed by, i got a call from Grace asking to change call with me...so i'd do her Sunday call and she'd do my Saturday call....then i decided to make an appointment for my long overdue facial...thankfully they had a slot in the evening..

I left work early to go to the office to settle my call claims and some paperwork...then went for my facial appointment...i actually dread facials...coz of the part where they squeeze out your blackheads, whiteheads, oil spots...so painful!!! always triggers sneezes in me...thankfully that part didn't last as long as it used to...apparently, according to the girl who did my facial, i don't have as many blackheads and spots as i used to anymore...and i haven't done facial for almost 4 months...hehe..quite flattering to know...;P

After facial, and a big hole in my wallet, i saw Jasmine's msg asking me to join her and Shalini for dinner...jap food again...i just had it last weekend...but since i hardly ever get to dine with Jasmine, so i wouldn't say no...while i was driving to the restaurant, Melvyn called...we were supposed to have cell meeting at his house...but i think he preferred to just hang out for dinner and then catch a movie...so i told him i was meeting Jasmine for dinner...and he rounded up all the cell members and joined us for dinner...so from 4 persons we became 8 persons...

Melvyn wanted to watch G-force after dinner...but by the time we finished dinner it was almost 9pm and the show was at 9pm...then he suggested 'Gamer' instead...it was showing at 1015pm...i was actually quite tired but the chance to watch Gerard Butler in action was too tempting to resist...so i fought my fatigue and went with them for the movie...was quite afraid that i might fall asleep...again, i shouldn't have worried....'Gamer' was so action-packed and loud...there was no way i could have fallen asleep...it was full of violence, gore and blood...not my genre really... can't really figure the storyline out (if there is one)...but the concept of the movie really left an unsettling feeling in my stomach...

Imagine a world where virtual reality is taken to the next level...you have players who control real-life people in games...like the ones they had in the movie...one is called Society and another is called Slayers...it's actually quite scary...and in Slayers, if the character in the game dies, then the person is really dead....how scary is that? it's quite sick really...i hope i never live to see the day when this actually happens in the world i live in...
