Baby Anan...

Sylvia came back to KK few days back for a short holiday...i was post call on Thursday so i thought it'd be nice to go visit her and baby Anan after work...been seeing lotsa photos of baby Anan on Sylvia's FB page...so i was over at Sylvia's place after dinner...baby Anan was about to sleep and was grumpy...he really looked so cute...his eyes were so huge and round...tried carrying him but either he didn't like me or he was just sleepy...coz he was squirming around and crying after a while...so in the end Sylvia brought him upstairs to his grandma so that he could sleep...

I asked Sylvia if Anan had a Chinese name since he is half-Chinese...but she said no...so his grandparents and aunties and uncles are calling him "小男"...so cute...anyway, it was good to catch up with an old friend...good to know that my friends are moving on well in life...hopefully i'll get to go to Singapore again soon so can visit baby Anan...

Baby Michelle...

Went to visit Pang, Sharon and baby Michelle today....she's really the most mild-tempered baby i've met...she slept through all our conversations and laughter....she was a bit jaundice...probably why she was always sleeping...but she really looks like Pang...anyway, here are some of her adorable pics....

A special delivery....

I'm post call today...slept about 6 hours...uninterrupted...but still managed to feel tired the whole day... the morning went by just like every Thursday...clinic after morning round...then lunch...and was in minor OT...we finished 3 rubber bandings and 2 lymph nodes biopsy...then got a message from Jasmine saying that Sharon's in labour...os dilated 4cm...Elaine, Siang Lin, Flora and i went for dinner at 1Borneo before we went to see Sharon...i thought we'd be in time for the delivery coz Sharon's a primigravida...we even went to buy some baby clothes and blanket and chicken essence for Sharon...

But when we called Pang, he said baby's out already...aiya!!! so sad....missed the delivery...so we quickly went to the hospital...apparently, Pang did S&S twice and expedited the delivery...so Michelle Pang Shi Yan was born on 15/4/2010 at 7.50pm...Sharon braved through a spontaneous vaginal delivery aided by entonox....Sharon said it really works...made her pain so much more bearable... should try it next time...hehe...

So Elaine and i took turns feeding Michelle...and took lots of photos of her...i didn't have time to go back to take my camera...good thing Elaine brought hers...Michelle and Sharon were definitely the stars of the day....well, the birth of a baby is such a joyous occasion...may God bless Michelle with abundant love, joy and peace...and may Sharon and Pang be given the wisdom to bring her up to love God...will put up some pics when i get them from Elaine....
